Our client a prestige care home is looking for registered Nurses to join them. Providing health care and support to residents.
We are looking to speak to anyone who has experience as a RGN, Nurse, Registered Nurse, Nursing home nurse, Care home Nurse, Community Nurse, District Nurse.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience: Nursing and Midwifery Occupations - 1 year (preferred)
* Certification: NMC
Role:
* Provide clear and accurate information in handover sessions for all staff to ensure the safety and welfare of their residents. Ensure the allocation of breaks for staff provide safe staffing levels to support residents needs and ensure staff have adequate breaks throughout the day.
* Accurately record information including daily records, care plans and administrative information such as incidents and accidents and audits to always ensure the safety and welfare of their residents.
* Provide general nursing care as required to support their residents including personal care as required.
* Ensure a smooth admission process for all new residents whether short- or long-term residency.
* Provide sound clinical leadership in the home in the event of an emergency or untoward incident including falls, ill health of residents and serious events such as fire or flood.
* Administer medication at specified times in accordance with The Care House policies and procedures, always ensuring a person-centred approach.
* Ensure safe monitoring, storage, and use of medications at all times.
* Ensure clinical waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
* Take responsible for producing resident`s care plans which are individually tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of each resident.
* Ensure care plans are updated and maintained as a true reflection of resident`s needs in the Nourish care planning system.
* To always act as resident`s advocate and be accountable for your actions in line with the NMC Code of Conduct and all policies and procedures at The Care House.
* Ensure resident confidentiality in line with GDPR.
* Recognise the importance of infection control and assist The Care House to maintain high standards.
* Liaise appropriately with other Healthcare Professionals, family members and significant others with regards to the health and needs of residents
