Development and Tech Lead
London / Remote - London
Ambitious, growing and innovative provider of solutions to the Lloyd’s and London Insurance Markets is looking for a Development and Tech Lead.
The Development & Tech Lead will help the company build a cross-discipled team of .NET Software Engineers as we transition away from a technology partner as well as performing hands-on build & R&D. You will then lead this team and ensure development of projects to meet requirements and the company’s wider technology strategy.
The Development & Tech Lead will be a key member of the Product Board, ensuring that the technology and product roadmaps are aligned and ensure the establishment and maintenance of the company as a leading solution and prevent technical legacy. You will also help set and maintain coding standards and ensure these are reflected in the Product Development Playbook.
Working closely with the Product and Project Managers on Sprint Planning to ensure appropriate capacity, the Development & Tech Lead will ensure that medium/long term technology projects are planned, identified and adequately resourced.
Required Experience includes:
• Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, CI/CD, software version management)
• Building SaaS solutions using Azure App Services, Azure IaaS, Azure Security, Azure AD etc.
• REST API development
• 5-10 years Full Stack .NET Development experience (C#, MVC) in an Agile environment, especially of data-driven enterprise applications
• SQL Server
• Experience building tools for data ingestion is a significant advantage, as is experience in Insurance
