Independent development and gaming Studios in Southport are looking for a 3D Unity Developer. This is a great opportunity to work for our clients development studio whose primary focus is the creation of immersive games and experiences for Virtual Reality (VR). They are one of the world`s first game development studios to focus solely on VR.

Their core team has over 30 years` experience in the gaming and other related industries. Having worked across multiple disciplines, they are well versed in game development, game design, graphics, product development and sound design, as well as overseeing numerous projects from conception through to eventual release.

The Roles and Responsibilities:

* The successful candidate will also be able to collaborate on different aspects of the production pipeline, including low-poly asset creation, UV and texture.
* Collaborating with the Art Director and technical team to create high-quality environments and props.
* Working with the team to ensure realistic time estimates are given and feeding back any workflow suggestions to the technical team
* The main responsibilities will be in the creation of environment art.


Desired Skills and Experience:

* Low-poly asset creation, including modelling, UV, textures
* Substance Design and Painter


Requirements:

* Unity - 2 years (preferred)
* Skilled in (one or more of) 3DS Max, Maya, Houdini
* Mudbox or Zbrush experience
* Experience with Unity game engine
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
