Senior Business Analyst

Location: Horsham (Flexibility for work-from-home is available after the first 3 months)

Salary: GBP 55,000

Full Time: Monday to Friday, Travel will be required for meetings (Probably once per week)

An opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join one of the independent estate agencies in the southeast of England. The IT team deliver trusted technology solutions that help their users and customers with property sales, lettings and related moving services.

The Job Role:

* The Senior Business Analyst will be working with product owners and the existing development team, you will be hands-on in analysing requirements and designing and prototyping solutions for an expanding software development team.
* You will help the Automated Testing Team design test plans and be the customer representative in first-pass UAT.
* There will be the option to expand into project management to see the project from conception to delivery.
* There is a future career development route into IT development management.


Skills, Experience and qualifications:

* Previous experience as a technology Business Analyst
* Expertise in capturing and analysing data and documenting requirements and specifications
* Solid understanding of the following Requirements models: Stakeholder Categories, Non-functional requirements, Configuration requirements, Gap Analysis, Actor Tables, Glossary, Context Diagram, Data Model, Class Model, Data Dictionary, Event Response Tables, State Diagrams, Business Rules, Decision Tables, Process Maps, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Test Cases, and Prototypeing.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio is essential
* Business Analysis qualifications (eg. ISEB) and ideally educated to Degree standard or equivalent
* Previous experience of supporting complex, company-wide technology projects
