We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to join our team here at The UKSI.

Job title: Sales Director

Location: Work from home / Home based role

* Your job will involve travel across all parts of the UK.


Salary: Annual salary OTE of GBP 100k plus per annum, plus benefits inc car allowance (more listed below).

Services include installation, commissioning and maintenance for fire safety, intruder, CCTV surveillance, emergency lighting, extinguishers and access control systems, linked where required, to our social enterprise Alarm Receiving Centre.

The UKSI use a network of approved Delivery Centres (DCs) who employ local skilled people to provide our services, right first time, every time. Passionate local people caring for their local area is `simply a better service`. To help support local economies our revenues are retained locally, none of our revenue leaves the UK. Our DC network provide a range of services, all to NSI and SSAIB quality standards.

Job description:

We are looking to recruit a key member of the team, our Sales Director. A person to create and deliver our UK sales strategies and play a crucial role in the success of the organisation, our DC network and all our stakeholders.

You will be, or you strive to become, a talented Sales Director, be highly motivated to succeed and be valued in the market, with sufficient key account industry experience to influence others to make a significant impact in this role.

You will have the following duties and responsibilities:

* Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets
* Developing relationships with clients and key industry points of contact
* Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
* Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
* Maximising new business development opportunities
* Overseeing a sales team of delivery centres and direct staff


You will be required to work regular office hours (8:30-5.00, Monday to Friday) but be prepared to invest extra hours when and as necessary. While you will have a home / office as a base, you`ll need to take part in many of out-of-office activities such as visiting clients, visiting delivery centre partners, site meetings and events, trade shows and exhibitions. Your job will involve travel across all parts of the UK.
