Tax Accounts Manager
Location: Stoke on Trent Hybrid Working
Salary: GBP 45,000 - GBP 50,000 per annum

A well-known Staffordshire firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, that use intelligent accounting solutions and expert advice to guide business and private clients. Continual staff training and in-house skills are invested in to deliver the most up-to-date services compliant with HMRC, digital technology and data protection.
The Role:
Looking for an excellent Tax Manager to support with advisory tasks and help develop a larger advisory function in the firm. Additional tasks may require managing a portfolio of clients, from sole traders, property investors, to simple directors of owner managed businesses.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Solid background in tax legislation
* Comfortable completing complex tax returns
* Supporting and helping the tax staff with technical queries on personal tax returns
* Able to spot advisory opportunities
* Able to process returns efficiently and accurately
* Excellent telephone and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and be extremely organized
* Leadership skills and help share responsibilities in daily running of practice
* Embrace new challenges
* Comfortable working in a busy team
Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* Hybrid options are available, require at least 3 days in office
