Senior Software Developer - C++ and Android

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer - C++ - and Android to work for a fast-growing company in central London. You will be joining a team of over 700 engineers who are at the forefront of technology, developing next generation connected products within consumer electronics and IoT devices.

The Senior Software Developer will be focused on software security, with the main responsibility being to work on finding solutions to already defined core security issues, implementing and also verifying the solution. Very good knowledge of C++ is required as well as Android framework specific knowledge.

We also expect the Security Software Engineer to have good knowledge in problem solving and testing, writing and executing tests as well as debugging is part of the teams' responsibilities.
In terms of Android the focus is on the framework, but a good understanding of the entire Android stack and its functions, especially in lower levels as BLE and networking is required.

As part of an experienced team of experts you will work closely together to deliver world class results to our customers. The role requires and open mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and ways of working.

Requirements of Senior Software Developer - C++ and Android
* Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electronics or similar subject
* Solid experience in C++ and
* Proven experience of the Android Framework as well as Android SDK
* Experience with GIT version control system
* Experience in test automation, debugging tools, and test frameworks
* Proven experience of networking protocols, APIs, and libraries
* Proven experience of BLE stack
* Team player able to be proactive in seeking information and reaching out to people
* Adaptable to switch technical context and willing to learn new methods / tools / coding languages
* Innovative approach, being able to input new design / technologies in existing code
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Salary: £80k - £100k + Excellent Bens and bonus
