Our client an exciting new vacancy for a friendly, fun, confident and committed veterinary surgeon who loves their job and wants to offer the best possible service to their clients and their pets.

Job Title: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (Vet)

Location: Mansfield

Role: Full time or part time

Salary: GBP 45,000 - GBP 65,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package (listed below)

About the Veterinary Practice

Our client is a single-site, small animal first opinion practice based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Working alongside their 3 other vets, you will be supported by an excellent team of 4 nurses/ACA, 3 receptionists and a practice manager.

They have a loyal client base, and they aim to treat their pets as they would treat their own. They have worked hard to build an excellent reputation in the area, and they have a real community feel of which their team are all very proud.

Requirements

* You will be a highly motivated individual who thrives on doing a quality job.
* You will be confident, professional, kind and empathetic to both the clients and their pets.
* You will need good communication skills and RCVS registration.
* Experience of at least two years would be preferred.

* 20-minute consultations to remove time pressure and allow them to offer a high-quality personal service.
* A great work-life balance - 21 to 36 hours a week over 3 to 4 days, Saturday 1 in 4 (9-2pm). No out-of-hours and they close at 6pm. No Sundays or Bank Holidays. 6 weeks paid holiday.
* GBP 45 - 60k PA depending on experience. Based on 38 hours a week (pro rata for part-time).
* Plus Pension, CPD and VDS.
* Accommodation is available rent free - Large self-contained single bedroom flat.
* Relocation packages and VISA sponsorship will be considered.
* Lots of tea, coffee, cake and biscuits!
