Welding and Materials Engineer
Highland - Scotland
FINTEC recruit is looking for a Welding and Materials Engineer for our client in the Energy sector. This is a contract role and may lead to a permanent position.
This is based in North Scotland.
Role and Responsibilities
The Welding and Materials Engineer will be will be undertaking technical review of material and quality approval of material and welding, acting as a technical authority.
* Review material and welding specification for tender submissions
* Develop qualification and approval of welding procedures in accordance with project specifications
* Continuous improvements in welding processes and keeping up to date with development of new welding equipment and techniques
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree qualified in Welding and Materials Engineering
* International Welding Engineer or European Welding Engineer qualification
